Beginners: an introduction to driving includes; using the controls -  when moving off and stopping; coordinating pedals, steering around corners at junctions; and being amongst other road users.

Learning how to deal with situations; coordinating with other road users; flowing with traffic at junctions which will include roundabouts and multi-lane changes etc. Developing hazard awareness, to be able to make the correct judgement, when entering and exiting roads. 

Pupil will develop confidence in controling the car within the road environment to keep our selves, our passengers and other road users safe. Also driving in seasonal conditions depending on the season and on different environment speed limits.

Apart of driving is to learn to reverse the car when doing the manoeuvres: turning the car round in the road to face opposite direction, forward and reverse parking into a bay within a car park environment, parking between vehicles from the side position for on street parking and moving the car onto righthand side of the road and then moving off to join back into left handside  of the road to join normal traffic flow.
